In Celebration of the 'Stache
Help my one-week sprint to $1,000 ... $1,500 ... $2,000!
Last year, my Save It or Shave It campaign raised more than $7,000 in two months. It cost me my mustache but it was worth it!
I have no mustache to risk this time around, but that does not mean I have nothing to give. I still have my time and energy.
You do not have a mustache to root for or against, but that does not mean the cause is any less important. If not in support of the critically ill children I am helping to support at Give Kids the World, please give to the fond memory of my glorious mustache. Or celebrate the one-year anniversary of its demise!
I was looking to raise $1,000 in one week (Aug. 2-9), but because you guys are so awesome, we hit that mark in 4 days! Then we hit $1,500 on Day 5.
My new goal -- $2,000.
Let's do this!
About Give Kids The World Village
When a child is diagnosed with a critical illness, a family’s world turns upside down. At Give Kids The World Village, we help them find their footing. Medical treatments and hospital visits are replaced with nightly parties, ice cream for breakfast, and hugs from a six-foot rabbit. Guests visit Orlando’s world-famous theme parks, play in a sparkling splash park, and celebrate Christmas and Halloween every week. It’s a chance for kids to be kids and for families to spend much-needed time together.
