On March 23, I will be at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia, supporting the critically ill kids who visit Give Kids the World Village - a nonprofit resort that provides cost-free vacations for them and their loved ones. I am very thankful that I get to do something that is very enjoyable (leading right into my passion as a coaster enthusiast), but also gives back to charity and even makes me feel better on a personal level.
Why did I say that last part, you might ask? Well, my cousin is one of the many, many children that Give Kids the World has directly benefitted from a Wish. In Spring 2018, she was granted a vacation by this stellar company for a week of Orlando's greatest magic. I was lucky enough to join her for the two days my cousin went to Universal Orlando Resort, and man was it amazing! Watching my cousin, who had struggled so much over the past years, was able to enjoy herself in the theme park capital of the world. A fair bit of the Orlando magic even sprinkled onto me as we stepped into Diagon Alley, what I consider to be the best land at any theme park I've visited. Most of all, we were able to spend quality time together despite living on opposite sides of the continent. All of these reasons represent why Give Kids the World means so much to me.

I thank you all for helping me reach my goal, for creating lifelong memories, lasting hope and a newfound confidence for the kids who need it the most. Even if you don't donate, it would be very appreciated if you could spread this message to your loved ones and beyond - have a great day.
